Dr. Nnamdi Azih is dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care that puts patients first. With a strong commitment to improving health outcomes, he takes the time to listen, educate and partner with patients in their care decisions. He believes in building trusting relationships and empowering patients to take an active role in their health journeys.
Dr. Azih was inspired to become a cardiologist after experiencing a cardiac condition at the age of 15. He says he understands how his patients may be scared or anxious when coming to a cardiologist. He tries to put patients at ease during every encounter.
Dr. Azih completed medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. He attended Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston for his residency. Dr. Azih practiced in a hospital setting as a hospital-based physician before attending University of Alabama at Birmingham for a cardiology fellowship.

Dr. Sam Michael earned his medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. He completed a residency and cardiology fellowship at University of Alabama at Birmingham. He considers Alabama home and is excited to begin his cardiology career in Madison.
