Dr. Aamer Abbas joined the team at Cardiovascular Associates of Carlsbad in 2025. He earned his medical degree at Dow Medical College/University of Karachi in Pakistan and completed an Internship in both the Department of Surgery and Department of Medicine at Civil Hospital in Karachi. Dr. Abbas then completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sanai School of Medicine in Bronx, NY, where he also served as Chief Resident. He then furthered his specialized training with Research and Clinical Cardiovascular Fellowships at Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX and an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Dr. Abbas is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Member of the Medical Staff at Carlsbad Medical Center.

Dr. Hassan earned his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his internal medicine and general surgery internship at Jinnah Hospital, also in Lahore, Pakistan. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the Medical Staff at Carlsbad Medical Center.
