Dana Valencia, M.D., is a cardiac surgeon who has dedicated 30 years to helping patients achieve optimum health and live their best lives. He is also an American College of Cardiology and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions fellow.
Dr. Valencia specializes in cardiovascular disease, mitral valvular disease, cardiomyopathy, hypertension, aortic valvular disease, acute myocardial infarction and cardiac arrhythmia. He also offers cardiac rehabilitation, cardiac stress tests, cardioversion, angioplasty, pacemaker and defibrillator services.
He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois-Peoria. Dr. Valencia completed an internal medicine residency at Mt. Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, and his cardiology residency at St. Louis University.
Dr. Valencia is a former Army physician and member of the American College of Cardiology, American Medical Association, Society of Nuclear Medicine, American Society of Internal Medicine, American Society of Echocardiography and American Heart Association.
